Hi, I was wondering if the white on the fish are some sort of sickness or if he was attacked or hit against some rock.

I have recently gotten a new emrald crab that molted and it now about an inch, could it be attacking it.

Looks like he probably rubbed against some rocks. I had a fire fish that had this from rubbing against some rocks and it disappeared in a day.

Yep, could be rub marks from the rocks when trying to sleep at night. Sometimes the currents will push them up against the rocks.
Watch for filmy white areas or red sores as signs of infection.

I don’t have anywhere to quarantine the fish. I will see how I looks tomorrow and go from there. Thanks.
The manufacturer of Ruby Reef Rally claims it to be "reef safe" and plenty of reefers have dosed it directly into their tanks. It just works better in a bath. Good product. It has both antiseptic and antibiotic qualities.

The other in tank treatment would be to boost the fish's immune system as much as possible, for overall health and for those scrapes. Adding vitamins like Selcon, Zoecon, Vitachem works.

It’s a little late but oh well. Didn’t get any ruby reef. He ended up healing up nicely is a few days. He is all good now.
