Is my fish tank setup good?

Okay so I have started a salt water tank and I kind of did this with little information on anything. I have had everything up and running for about 2 months. I just wanna know if my stock is okay and if all my equipment is okay and if my levels are good. Here is everything about my tank..

55 gal
60 pounds live sand
50 pounds live rock
Coral life lighting system
Fluval canister filter...70 gal
Powerhead (is this necessary?)
Ammonia and NitrIte = 0
NitrAte = 25
Salinity.24-.25
Temp 79-80
Clownfish
Blue damsel
Peppermint shrimp
Crabs
Snails

Yes. Very much so.
Esp If your going into corals.
for fowler yes too. Bacteria need good flow too.

The power head I got is very very strong...the tank has a lot of bubbles now. Is this okay?

Not the end of the world though. Is the PH sucking air and blowing it out?

When I was running my 55 gallon oh so many years ago, I had 3 powerheads plus the flow from my hob skimmer. It was lowish flow with the powerhead I had, so it'll depend on what sort of powerhead you have too. Back then we had maxi-jets. A couple of koralias would work

@Lowstorm . my 55 has Maxis and one koralia. Maxijets are a lost art I tell ya!

I know! lol. I was in a thread somewhere where people were talking about how things were made 'way back then'. I found a youtube video of someone making a wavemaker with a maxijet and a fan-base that they duct-taped above the tank

Here, this may help. Post #23 shows and explains in a way how to make flow happen in your tank. It can be done in multiple ways. Most of us use powerheads
