So I am very new to the hobby. I've had this Frogspawn for about a month now.

Is my Frogspawn ok? The circled polyps seem to be splitting which I am not sure is ok or not.

Do you know your parameters? Any information about your system such as age, lighting (type, intensity, schedule), filtration and Is helpful.

Sure I did not think the parameters are that off the mark since the corals seem to be doing ok. But here they are:

Alkalinity: 8.1
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 20
pH: 8
Salinity: 34.6
Phosphates: 0.1 (tested at LFS and I also put i na bag of phosguard in the last 4 days)

I don't yet have other tests like Calcium or Megnesium.

Temperature is between 78F-79F

This is a Fluval Evo with AI HD16 light 8" above water. I have an Aqamai powerhead that is running at ~50% as well.
Filtration is live rock, Chemipure Elite, Purigen, Phosguard and plain old 20% water changes every 2 weeks.

Here's my lighting schedule:

and here is how everything is laid out:

Your tank looks great! Nothing looks off on your parameters so I would just give it some time and observe.. tank looks really new so it may take a little longer for it to settle in.

Thank you and appreciate your time in responding!

The tank is less than 2 months old so spot on on that. Never having kept corals, I don't really know what is out of normal (outside the obvious polyp extension and polyp bailout).

Your welcome :) be sure to keep us updated with any progress.

It's looking good so far. Make sure it has moderate flow. When you see heads like that it's starting to split. I started with 2 heads about 18 mos ago and this is now (roughly 16 heads)

Interesting I thought they split from the head, right and not from the polyps?

This one would not open fully until I put it right in front of the power head (granted not at full blast but at 50%)

Here's what it looks like retracted at night:
