Is my fungia dead/dying?

I think I placed this guy to close to my frogspawn. He was doing well but is now looking very pale... is it dead?
Photos of how it is now and how it did look last week.

Nothings fully dead until you see a 100% white skeleton shell left behind

Looks like light bleach not a sting. Keep it on the sandbed, don’t move it, touch it, feed it, nothing. It hopefully will recover.

Great to hear! I have a couple. I received both when they looked like that. They came back fast.

Even if it does die dont throw the skeleton. A lotof times these guys will pop out lots of new babies.
