Is my green bubble coral dying ?

I had no problem and today suddenly bubble coral seems not happy and start to shrink down and spitting out little jellies liquid from its mouth.

Not tht much but still I kinda worry


I target fed mysis shrimp last night ,but it is been while so I don't think it is digesting or something ..
I assuming something bad thing is goin on.

I checked all parameter and it was ok and
Other corals doin fine .

Is there any sign when bubble coral dying ?

Help me please thank you.

Btw location of bubble coral is totally fine low flow less lights.

Mine own, which Ive had for years, does the same thing - swollen and full most of the time, deflated and gaping at other times. It also ejects waste some time after feeding, most obviously if I feed krill which I don't believe it digests completely. I worry if I notice it deflated for any length of time, but it always seems to come back.

We'll see what the experts say....

How often do you feed him ? It is normal for them to expell like that sometimes if overfed. I do not feed mine direct ever in my systems and they rarely have done this though, I dont think its cause for immediate concern just yet Mine have done alot weirder stuff and been totally fine Oh btw mine loves flow !!! they need it for inflation he might just be re-upping his structural water

When a bubble coral is dieing, you will see bits of it blowing around your tank. exposed skeletal structure getting larger daily,with or without brown slime around the exposed edges.

While Ive never had a bubble coral, Ive had torches, hammers, etc. I cant feed any of them because they will shrivel up and poop a lot lol
Also, during "blue only" light, they do tend to shrink down and deflate.
