Hi Guys,

Added the first coral to my Redsea 625 today. I am not sure if it is getting enough flow. I have attached a video link below. Let me know what you guys think. Thank you.

Flow looks too aggressive in my opinion. It shouldnt be jolting the heads like that. That will keep the coral shrivvled up like it is. Its got two big heads on it. Expanded it should be 2-3x that size. Change the position of your flow in the tank or move the coral. It should be gentle flow on euphillias if you want good extention. Not jerky flow

I agree, the heads should wave, not shake. You might try adjusting the flow so that it passes near but does not directly impact the coral. Just a slight adjustment.

Thanks for your reply. It was much larger during the day time. Time here atm is nearly midnight and my lights are barely on. Could this be the reason why there is no good extention. Reason why I wanted to ask this question here is because in the shop tank they had a higher amount of flow and the heads were constantly moving around.

Agree, you need to turn down the flow.

If it was much larger during the daytime, I would leave it alone. It can take a lot more flow than people think. It is probably that size due to the night schedule. Not to much flow IMO if it is happy when all the lights are on.

Thanks Guys, I will play around with it tomorrow and see what gives best results. Cheers
