One of my hammer head looks like this… is it dying? My other heads arent coming out much either. Is there any hope left?

Any idea why it's so cloudy?
Just got a new tank and sand, had corals and fish transferred from my old tank to the new one, it cleared up alot now but still alittle bit cloudy, got water tested today and they said everything was really good. Just waiting for cycling through, hammer did fine for a couple weeks until couple days ago

Looks like possible disease, possibly brown jelly. Able to get a clear photo in white light?
either that or they are really ticked off at something.

Doesn’t look too late for the coral. Maybe get it in another tank while your new one stabilizes

I dont see any brown jelly, i ended up cutting it off its branch and putting it on the sand incase it was dying. But the others on the branch isnt coming out today… do you think they’re okay?

They look ok but not happy about something. Could just be the changes going to a new tank. No matter how close you are on water parameters there is always something a little different with flow, light, nutrients, and water chemistry initially.

Leave it be.... Any action means more stress, and that u dont want...

There is always time to react and save coral, but trying gazilion things one after another for sure do more harm than do nothing, wait a little and see....

Will do! Thanks for the advice!

I would let it be also, but move it off the sand. It could irritate it more. Just put on a flat rock or small frag rack temporarily.

I mean, mine came to me with smashed head..... So, i ended up with 3 pieces of head, two of them i just stick in some miliput and throw it in tank...

Third, largest piece, i dipped, cured, moved around trying to find best spot....

Ended up killing poor thing.

And that two little pieces, trashy ones.....

-philias are not easy to kill sometimes ;)
