So I have a 20 gallon cube tank with a new ai prime and was wondering if the brs ab+ schedule with an acclimation starting at 60 percent for 50 days would be too bright. I like the look of the brs setting but I’m scared it’s way to bright for my corals. My ai prime shows it being 35 watts if that means anything

If you have an unlimited budget, consider a PAR meter for around $400. You'll use it once or twice, and then it will collect dust......so not a good expenditure. The second option is that some LFS's rent them. Here in NJ, it's $25. The last option is to purchase what I call, "The Poorman's PAR Meter,".....a LUX meter for around $15. What you'll want at the surface is around 20K-25K LUX. The "expert" on this is @saltyfilmfolks , and if you search R2R with his screen name and something like, "Using a LUX meter", I'm sure you'll find additional information. For what it's worth, HERE's the one I have.

Rent a PAR/PUR meter and get factual numbers vs. suggestions/ assumptions. It'll be a world of difference, I promise.
We spent way too long on it but we PAR mapped every single tank in our farm and it now helps us see where we're getting the best color vs. growth

is the newer Seneye Reef PAR meter good enough for applications like this? it's much cheaper and has other functions too, but I never hear anyone mention them these days

Great suggestion!!! From you experience ,please recommend the best PAR for SPS to achieve deep and best coloration.
