I have 2 kessil 360s over my Reefer 350 about 6” off the water. Does my lighting schedule seem okay to you? Is it enough light for a mixed reef? I don’t have a lot of corals yet, but plant to add some SPS soon. I did have the max intensity at 75% before but a monti cap and zoas about half way up, and a torch on the bottom started losing color so I lowered the max to 60%. But I’m concerned it won’t be enough for some SPS now. The top of the rocks are about 3-6” below the surface.

Both me and hubby like the color a bit whiter to really see the fish, but I’m not sure if it might be too much white for too long?

The first picture seems like your best bet. Two a360s 6 inches off the water with a max of 60% intensity. With sps near the top and Lps and softies at the bottom you should be good to go :) as far as color you can set it to whatever you want. The nice thing with kessil is you can set it to whatever color you want and it'll be optimized for coral growth.

Without par numbers it’s honestly just a best guess.

Go with the color you like. Thers no right answer with most reef Lights.

Also the kessil spectrum All grow coral. Kessil logic.

I think we should add. , not all sps are high lighting. Nor are softies all low light.

Cool, thanks. Lighting seems to be such a guessing game. Nice to know I’m not way off base. I’ll stick with this schedule and see how it goes.

Oh, it’s a science. An easy one really.
