Eh, didn't you just have an anemones go in the powerhead? How's it looking?

Could be perfectly normal, but I'd be concerned about a water quality issue if the anenome is dying...

Yes I did have an anemone go into the powerhead. I thought an anemone moves around if there is a change in current or temp and until it finds it's happy place? I was just asking because I did move my power head so the flow is more on my life rock...if you think it's something more let me know. I have been checking my parameters and to my knowledge they are good.

I'd just watch parameters, did the anenome survive?
My understanding is they will move for the reasons you listed, or just because, lol. I don't keep them for that reason.
I just know they can pollute the tank if they die, so wanted to make sure that was not going on

It's a photosynthetic bacteria, one of the oldest forms of life on earth. Typically gets out of control from excessive nutrients in the water especially phosphate, poor lighting especially from old fluorescent bulbs, and low water flow/movement.
There are lots of articles on the web, here is a link to one I think gives a good overview.
