Is my Maxi-mini in a bad way...

So I'm aware that maxi mini's will split naturally and will spawn naturally. Just wondering if mine have spawned. My blue maxi mini appears to be knocked up or has the anemone equivalent of a mole. There is a round small ball on the edge of the anemone. It appears to be another anemone but I'm not so sure. I hope it is a baby, I'm dying to find out who the baby daddy is...or baby mama for that matter, I have 9 maxi's. Also, if it is a baby, will it be identical to one of my other nem's or a something different, color/pattern wise?

I may be wrong but I don't think those split.

Maxi mini's don't split so the only way to get new ones is to manually slice it in half OR have a bunch of them like you do and they will spawn naturally

Some times when they are stressed they'll put out what looks like a ball of guts. I've taken a knife to mine in the past to get them to split and it works great!

No, but I posted a vid of when I fragged my RBTA here somewhere. It takes about 10 seconds start to finish if you have a sharp knife.

I've seen BTAs split but not Maxi Minis or carpets with success.

Yep, they are even easier than BTA's.

Yeah if you want more maxi's from the ones you have, take a clean, sharp razor blade and make a nice slice right through the middle of the mouth and from end to end and withing a week or two at most you will have 2 perfectly identical maxi's from 1
