Is my mushroom dying?

help! Just added my first mushroom coral to my tank a couple hours ago and it looks like this right now. Parameters are all where they should be. Is it normal for mushrooms to close for a while when first added to a tank? Or does it look like mine is dying?

Let it be for now as it’s still acclimating to the tanks

ya a bit stressed from being moved they close up and will open back up in a bit or a day.

Thats a very nice looking shroom. Watermelon?

It was sold to me as a watermelon, and it is much bigger in size when it’s fully open. Got this one for $5

Before you freak out...they move. They have a foot like a nem. It will find it's sweet spot. Mine have always been happiest low in the tank snuggled against a rock. It might move after that, but where I have had 100% success starting them.

Ok so I didn’t know mushrooms glow neon under blue lights and I’m in awe at the colours of this one. Opened up really nice under blue lighting
