Sand bed is Not a fovorable location as they are easily upset by sand on them. Elevate a little and assure moderate light and water flow. Pretty specimen otherwise

Looks fine to me also mushrooms are one of those things in your tank that will move if they don't like where they are. If it has been there 3 days and hasn't let go it is probably okay. You don't want the current strong enough that it pulls up its sides and exposes it. As long as that isn't happening it is probably just fine there. They will also acclimate to most lights over time. They like lower light but can tolerate a lot as well.

If you can put it on top of that rock you have it next to that would be preferable. They don't love to be directly on the sand. A little elevation is better. They will tolerate it but not all will love it.

No I just put it there….it fell off a top rock at night into a hole in between 2 rocks in the bottom where I couldn’t see it and no way am I gonna leave it there it’s kinda half on the rocks and more on the sand bed atm but it’s really nice I wanna keep it healthy

Ty for the responses …I’ll try to move it to the rock but last time he dropped off making me think he didn’t like it

If it floats a little that's ok....settling. looks good to me....

If you're super worried about him you can get him a mushroom basket and make him hang out in there. I dont have any links to them but you can look them up.

I would just see if you can get him to live on that rock up there its the safest place for him. If the top of that rock has too much flow you may want to just move him on that rock somewhere else. If he has released from whatever he was holding it can take him a few days to a week or so sometimes to grab back onto something. Especially if he isn't exactly happy with his spot. Most of my shoots hide in the shade or in a really low flow area. If you have like an arch or shelf somewhere under those works really well if not a lot of times Corners aren't the best if you have multiple wavemakers bc the water hits the corner and has to go somewhere so there's sometimes more flow there than you would like just check its not a fast corner. Ive got a bunch of disco mushrooms in a low flow corner and they do fine.
