Is my Nem... Dead?

Been dealing with power issue up till a couple of nights ago... 3 nems look good this one not so much.

Whe it looks like the head of a cauliflower, its pretty much toast. In honesty, does not look good

That’s what I thought. Hell if this the only lose I am OK with it. Sucks but could’ve been so much worse! I’ll keep an eye on it and if I see more deterioration I will remove.

Its foot is attached and its open indicating it is doing well

My RFA looks like that right now. Any updates on how your nem is doing?

I find when they turn to jell or the mouth/foot turns into a raw fungus then it's a goner. But I have had many go through powerheads and get shredded. I then end up with many juvenile BTAs all over the place. I also intentionally rip them apart before by pulling a rock from each other. They survive. Very resilent species.

Never had a long term power outage like you. But glad it's bouncing back. I hope the other two made it as well.
