Is my neon goby ok?

Hi R2R,

I recently added a small neon goby to my 90 gallon tank, he/she has been spending time in a little cave and I just found the goby started to explore the tank this morning.

However, his/her fin looks a little damaged to me, I am not very sure if it is only some sand stuck on his/her body. What I fear is that the goby has some diseases that needs immediate treatment, please let me know if I have to do anything immediately.

You might try to net it and put it in a small glass bowl or Tupperware and try taking a few photos so we may see better what you are looking at.

I'm useless when it comes to fish diseases and parasites, but some of the Reef Squad are really good at helping. You should get some better replies today.
