It’s much smaller than it usually is, all shriveled up. It was normal yesterday. Also ignore the sexy shrimp on it

Probably, I'd be patient. Corals often close up and all corals have to shed their mucus coating as it ages to renew it.

Yeah it was back to normal the next day lol. I’m a first time reef parent, so any small changes in my tank and I’m like “oh no are they ok????”

Get used to it! :D I've been keeping reef systems for 4 decades and am still paranoid when I see changes I wasn't expecting or new stuff happening.
