Hey guys,

I bought a new tank. I made sure to inspect it well at the store. I carefully put it in my room. It was a final sale on the tank as well. Just before I was about to set it up, I noticed a small scratch on the tank. How bad is this?

My 135 gallon has a similar wee scratch on one of the corners. To me it looks cosmetic only without compromising the integrity is the tank.

Just take it back to the shop and have a replacement in perfect condition :upside-down-face:

Man my luck is the worst, always bad stuff happens after the other. I’ll likely have to suck this one up, when I bought it they said final sales and no returns. I had the option to inspect it but this was way to hidden for me to see.

I’ll likely just sell it 10-20% of the price I bought it for just to make room

That's a shame man, sorry to hear that!

I am unfamiliar with retain rules in the US and all the "no returns" shananigans, it does seem to favour the vendor and not the customer though..

I'd just set it up, use it and enjoy it! The first scratch is always the hardest, now you don't have to worry about that first one at least.

Thanks man, I appreciate you helping me in my posts.
