Is my PAR too low for an anemone?

I’ve kept corals for over 20 years, and to my eye your corals look light starved. That is the primary problem.
Factually it was not my problem. I showed you a picture where I had to much intensity and burned my coral. Then a picture of a complete turn around once I fixed the problem.

Light starved they were not.

I’m not sure what ‘mistake’ you think I made,
That poor spectrum caused my tank to grow poorly, and that my spectrum was the cause of my problems in the past

When it was obviously to much light

I’d wounded your ego
lol dont flatter yourself . Religious or philosophy boards make you like a kitten with great big eyes LOL

As I said two weeks ago, this isn’t productive, I don’t really have any interest in losing any more brain cells in trying to communicate with you. You’ve either intentionally or ignorantly misrepresented and misinterpreted what I said multiple times now, and I just don’t care enough to keep correcting you, so I’m done.

8% intensity so very low par in a 30" dep 210g

The tank of someone who says PAR doesn’t matter. Nems grow big and bright under good par and spectrum, they split under stress and these aren’t growing. Split your tank and put a good light over half and keep the other light over the other half and watch the difference, that would be a neat comparison to see.

Utter nonsense. They grow if you feed them silversides, in the past I have had them as large as I want.

To show how poor your advise is, they were under very high par and shrunk, and stayed hiding under rocks.

Nothing wrong with spectrum either, and I have used multiple lighting methods in the last 30 years. This is the fastest they have ever grown.

LOL utter nonsense in the last 6 months they have grown more rapidly then ever.

All I'm, going to say.....

As someone who's been reefing a long time, and has used just about every lighting kit available(MH, T5's, LEDs, CFL's, etc, etc)........

I see a whole lot of BS posted by quite a few people in this thread.

Am I right in saying that too much BS is bad for your corals and nems and will negatively impact their growth and colour?

You seem to be extremely defensive of your lighting and I don’t blame you, you have good euphyllia growth and your anemone are alive and extended and if a lot of small is what you want over huge and flowing, that’s your tank and you’re doing great in your regard. It works for your goal, but I stand by that you could get better results with a better light. I don’t think that’s something exclusive to expensive lights either even though AI is what I found works for what I want. Better here being used subjectively if i were to project what I would want on your tank if it were mine because I disagree with what you’re arguing. PAR isn’t what I’m arguing for, it’s spectrum, and light in itself may not be the cause of what I point out in your tank because I don’t know your parameters or husbandry practices. Best.
