I’ve had this possum wrasse for almost 3 weeks now in my Evo 13g. Up untill today the fish has been pretty normal sticking to rock work and what not. I’ve been feeding my tank frozen brine shrimp once a day (sometimes twice or pellets in the evening) and adding copepods once a week. All of a sudden today I’ve seen it hanging towards the top of the tank for most of the day.

Is this normal? And anything I should look/test for?

Tank is about 3 months old with a small clownfish and 2-3 hermits. Running no lights.

No they get along quite well actually. Clown sticks the wall where the wrasse is now. I took my water to LFS and they said it’s all good and normal for the fish to perch like that. Had similar experience for them when they had one in the store.

Long story short thing I’m all good for now. Just a new fish getting used to the environment still

Update: woke up this morning and found him in sand. It’s still alive but can barely swim. Ugh not good
