Is my Purple Tang a crip?

My purple tang has very weird swimming patterns and one of its fins seems to be going the wrong way… I have had him for over 7 months, and he/she is aquacultured.
Just wondering if this is normal or some interbreeding thing lol. They have never been the “boss” of my tank, but this one seems to be at the bottom of my tang gang hierarchy.
