Is my RODI unit destroyed ?

Hello guys, so I have come with u fortunate news. So I have left my RODI running in my families kitchen. It’s a BRS 100 GPD unit that is connected to the sink. The connection has a lever that when anyone needs to use it, they can flip the lever and water flows from the tap. The problem here Is someone decided to run the water in hot instead of cold. The RODI has been running for a few minutes when I realized the unit was immensely hot. I’m assuming the RO membrane is destroyed at this point. What will I have to replace ? Thank you guys

Unfortunate but not destroyed
Change membrane and all cartridges. Will be like a new unit

Should I change out even the sediment and carbon ?

Nah just the RO membrane and you should be good. Membranes are not that expensive.

Yes- all cartridges -sediment from membrane likely passed through all stages

the hot water would not have hurt the sediment or carbon cartridges. In any case those are cheap to replace as well if you really want to.
