Is my sea hair dead

Hi all I purchased a sea hair yesterday and have woke up this morning to find him like this is head dead he's making no movement what so ever?

Just tested water my ph is a little low at 7.8 ammonia is 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 0 phosphate .05
He is still not moving. Any ideas ?

Try gently picking him up. They move extremely slow so don't expect some sudden movement. I had one and thought it had died because it wouldn't move until about an hour after my lights turned on. Put him on his side and if it just stays like that then it is probably dead

Iv had one before and the same thing happened. But only my first one survived for 2 days. Maybe I have no luck with these things.

looking at the photo you rock looks really clean, is the tank new?
Sea Hares need some algae to mow on in order for them to survive. The also don't care for a turbulent environment. How is your tank setup?

My tank is around 16 months old I have a few small patches of hair algea my tank is a fluval m90 30 gallon. rear chamber sump I have tmc 600 skimmer in first chamber. Phosphate removing media bio foam and filter floss in second chamber 3rd chamber live rock and cheato. Return pump in last chamber. Not sure the amount of weight in live rock in my dt. I am going to take some water to get tested tomorrow as I have tested it with an api test kit which in my experience are rubbish. All my corals are thriving and cannot see any fish that seem to be stressed all feeding and very active. 3 chromis 2 peculiar clowns 1 strawberry grammar 1 blue spotted cheek goby 1 skunk shrimp 1 Peppermint shrimp 3 turbo snails and 4 hermit crabs.

I have removed it now because I have heard the can be very toxic

I have a buddy that has one in the sump and it has been in there for over a year.. I agree with an above post though, if it has passed on, I'd remove it promptly...
