Place the entire shell into a cup and remove from tank. Then turn it over in cup. If dead it will fall out and smell pretty bad. High salinity, low calcium and high nitrates as well as starvation will cause snails to die.

everything fell out from the shell and smelled rly bad…but other snails are doing fine. checking my nitrates right now and i dont have any calcium checker

As suspected. Its a dead one
 
Probably I would leave it in the tank to help seed your growth of bacteria looks like the system needs some.
