Is My Stand Leveled?

I have spent three hours trying to get my Waterbox 100.3 stand leveled. The floors in our apartment are atrocious, which is a shame because we are the first people to live in it. They clearly rushed them, and it’s incredibly frustrating.

The stand has roughly twenty-four leveling feet, which has been a nightmare to work with.

Judging by the photos below, is it leveled to an acceptable degree, or do I have more work to do?

Thanks so much! I’ve never been a handyman, so I wasn’t sure whether the bubble needed to just be inside of the lines or whether it needed to be dead-center between them.

99% of the time in between the lines is sufficient. If you’re hanging a door or window you’ll want that bubble dead center so your door doesn’t creep open or closed on you or your windows get jammed.

measure again after you put the tank on the stand...then after you fill it with water, sand and rock. ( at least thats what I'm going to do to make sure it stays as level as possible.
I understand your frustration, we are the first to live in this home and, like you, it seems like it was a rushed job. very infuriating.

That is absolutely what I planned on doing. I had a difficult time with all of the leveling feet, so I don’t want to get it filled and only then realize that it’s not leveled.

It’s a cliché, but things just aren’t made the way they used to be. Here in Columbus, apartments are going up so quickly that there’s no way they are given the careful construction that they should be given. Our second-floor flooring squeaks when we walk on it, and there are visible bows in the flooring. For >$1,600/month in rent, that should not be an issue.

If it is a rimless tank where the water line is visible with the top edge of the tank then further adjustment will likely be needed otherwise you will easily see the discrepency between the waterline and glass edge even if it is just a little out of perfect level.

Same here in Michigan.
An apartment for 1600...dang. You can move right next door to me (they are currently building a home) and probably pay that or less for your mortgage. Granted it’s a rural area, which is nice. Ann Arbor or toledo are about 30 min away.

Put your level front to back, side to side and at as much of an angle (corner to corner) as possible. The longer the level is the more true/ level your tank will be. So far it looks good.
