I have a 45 Gallon cube tank, it it’s ran by a Tidal 75 with about 40lbs of rock and a wave maker. Having some Cyano issues.

Ocellaris clown pair
Yellow wrasse
Ruby head wrasse
Domino Damsel
Skunk cleaner shrimp
and a couple of hermit crabs and nassarius snails

I'd say probably not but a more accurate answer could be given if you included a picture of the tank showing your live rock layout.

I wouldn't say so, you see much smaller systems with the same or higher bioload. Overfeeding often leads to algae issues. Regular removing of uneaten food and water changes will help keep things more in check. BRS did an awesome video today on algae issues, it's 30 minutes long but definitely worth a watch

I know fake coral I can’t have real coral as the tank has been cuprimined...

Try and get all that algae scrubbed from the rocks and then siphoned as much out as possible! Siphon through a filter sock and you will be able to reuse the water. Also have you run cuprisorb to remove the Cupramine?

That works?? I thought it was always in the tank once you used it. My lfs misinformed me and told me to use it before I knew that you could never keep coral again. But if that works then that would be great!

I have been running carbon but I’m not sure if that works the same.

I successfully removed cupranine from my tank using cuprisorb and poly filters while doing aggressive water changes, now I can keep corals no problem.

How long did you need to do that for in order for it to be completely gone?

Cuprisorb may be something you run continually from now on to make sure anything that leaches back out gets taken out of the water column, you could do the same with a polypad too

No, I wouldn't say it is. That is actually a pretty understocked tank.
The only advice i can give you would be to remove the domino damsel, those things are satan! They get pretty big too, like 5", which will for sure be problematic with your other smaller fish.
Good luck, welcome to R2R and God bless!

That is seachems actual website, with directions on how to regenerate it, so technically you may never need to replace it! However if youre reading 0 on test kits I'd imagine the cuprisorb could run a very long time in your display without needing regeneration!

That is very good to know that I can actually be able to have coral on this tank! The fake coral is not good it just gets covered in algae and falls off the rocks LOL

If I moved him to a 15g alone would he be able to stay in that size tank?

For a while, but a tank that small may not be big enough in the long term. The best option, and the best thing to do would be to either bring it back to the lfs, or maybe rehome it. Sorry about that, I'm surprised your LFS didn't warn you about that.

The guy at the lfs told me these guys were nice so that’s the only reason I got it haha. But thanks for letting me know before he starts terrorizing everyone.

Always do your own research alongside the advice you receive, that includes us!! Damsels are notorious for bullying other fish. My lfs sells them to anyone who really wants one but they've always been very honest from what I've seen and heard! If you see a fish you like then go home and do some digging, watch some vids and ask about on here!

A few months, the cuprisorb is still in there to absorb anything that keeps leaching from the rock/sand just in case.
