So my tank is 6 months old now, it has...
Apollo dimable lights
Biopellets
Phosban reactor
UV (it is turned off right now)
Two powerheads so there is good flow

Bartlets anthias male
Mandarin dragonett
Green reef chromis
O. Clown
Bangaii cardinal
Two skunk cleaner shrimp
6 Sexy shrimp (with their mini maxi that i can never see...)
Coral
Zoas, mushroom, mini maxi, palm tree cloves, daisy looking coral, two welsi's, and ricorida. I also have three pieces of hard coal, but i dont remember their names. They have their color's and one has small bright green polyps. Ive had them a month with no bleaching. Everything is happy, colored, and the softies are all splitting and expanding around themselves, all my coral are frags except my two welsi's on the sand bed.
I dose a small amount of phyto every other day, one night they get oyster feast, then the next they get roti feast and i alternate every other night with those, very small amounts. The tank get feed pods every week, and ROE, mysis, spirlina, frozen pods, reef caviar mix daily. Small amounts about 3 times to 4 times a day. Once a week i target feed the eggs or mysis to my corals. I do reef fusion 1 and 2, alk booster, and reef fuel dosing as well
I want a nice clam, ones that 2 to 4 inches. I know there are a ton of different kinds, i'd like a slow growing, stay small forever or awhile clam that will like the sand bed. My fear is i dont have a protein skimmer, i do a 15 gallon water change every week. Ido have enough fish for ammonia but my long term plan is to get miracle mud and have a mostly coral tank with a six line wrasse and maybe two other fish, so eventually not so many fish for ammonia. Also is my tank too young for a clam still? Just seeing if now is the time for a clam and which one people recommend. Also if anyone knows a good place to get one that would be great!

They are the smallest of the clams with a max size of 6"
