Is my tank ready for an anemone

I have a fluval evo 13.5 With upgraded filtration with everything else stock
I have coralline algae starting to appear and my ammonia is 0 nitrite is 0 and nitrate very close to 0
I have 2 clownfish
5 hermit crabs
3 nassarius snails
2 trochus snails
Is my tanks ready for an anemone or any other inhabitants if so what ?

+1 to this, a tank is only ready if it’s aged enough (6 months+, preferably 1 year to 18 months). If it’s an easier nem, I.E. RFA, Mini Maxi then it can possibly go in at 6 months, if it’s a harder nem I.E. BTA, Condylactis then it needs to be a nicely shred tank that’s Atleast a year old if not older.

For starters as mentioned above I would recommend something like a flower anemone. Very hardy, beautiful and have low demands.

I mean I would upgrade the light before getting an anemone. Also want nitrate between 5 and 10 stable.

Increase feeding, less water changes. In my opinion you're already pushing it with 2 clowns in that tank.

Really ? It’s 52 litres (13.5 American gallons) many people with the same tank have many more tank inhabitants

Clowns should be in a 20g+ and are notorious for being jerks.

Cleaner shrimp are always fun. I'd still recommend a lighting upgrade before more coral or anemone. Keep in mind if you add an anemone down the road they can wander the tank. Any coral by them will have to be moved, not the anemone. Basically when you add an anemone they now own the tank.

Yep I will look into a better light also my Xenia is getting too large can I just trim it with a pair of scissors or how it best to control it ?

Are you testing for anything other than what you mentioned? I would test for the big three (alk,calc,mag) plus nitrate and phosphate on a tank that small especially. Stability is key and if you can’t test for it you can’t know if your tank is actually stable enough for more demanding livestock.
