How's it going guys, i have had my saltwater tank setup with only live rock for 2 months now. I am wondering if it is ready for beginner, hardy corals. My water parameters are at :

Ammonia : 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 10 ppm
Ph: 7.8
Phosphate: 0 ppm
Alkaline : 10dkh
Gravity : 1.026

The reason i did not post those, is because to my understanding, every water change (weekly) that i do i introduce new amounts of Calcium and Magnesium with my Coral Red Sea Salt. And since i am only planning on keeping hardy corals for begginers then i shouldn't worry as much. Is that correct?

Need to get your phos. and nitrates up.
If your using API test kits... I'd recommend
Phos. = Phos or ULR Hanna checker
Nitrates = Salifert Nitrate kit

Here's a water parameter guide line for you.

You still should "test" to keep the Cal / Alk / Mag inline.
I'd use the Red Sea Blue Bucket salt. The RSCP salt has and alk at about 12-12.5 dkh and is for the Red Sea SPS growth program.

You could try the Fritz RPM salt too.
@ 1.025 SG
Cal = 440
Alk = 8.5 - 9
Mag = 1400 - 1420

Currently i am using the Api testing kit. I thought we wanted phosphates at 0 ppm ? I guess i was wrong. I am also using the Red sea salt in the blue bucket. Its this one
Will this salt be ok for corals? This is my very first saltwater tank so i rather not go in to high demanding corals.

Yes,
That's the Blue Bucket and it's for natural seawater reef parameters. ;Woot ;Woot
You can let your phos. and nitrates rise above Randy's guide.
Your corals need some phos. and nitrates and a little high is better than zero.

If you want an elevated big 3 salt mix, then I'd get the Fritz RPM salt but that's JMO.

Thank you for the input man. I really appreciate it
