Is my tank ready for livestock?

My 150g has been cycling for about 6 weeks and algae growth has been showing for about a week and a half, am I ready to start adding fish and coral? If not how long should I wait more?

Have you been feeding the tank? Ammonia fish food ect... Plus you will need some Phos and nitrate or corals will starve. What test kit are you using?

Yes when I first started the cycle I fed the tank zooplankton, brine and mysis shrimp. I also added seachem stability.

If you've been dosing food or bacteria then it should be good

If youre still worried you can always get some live rock with your fish

Yea, I was only thinking about doing one fish at a time with the exception of a pair of clowns. But I am thinking of adding a one spot foxface, hippo, watchman goby, cleaner wrasse, the clowns as mentioned before, cardinals, a fire fish, and a few damselfish

Yes they stake out their corner.
Hard to guess what another reefer wants for fish.

Ive had my clowns thru a couple of stupid mistakes that killed other fish, including some you mentioned.
They are not bulletproof, but theres a reason they are popular.

Yea I couldn’t agree more, I have a 20g where I had two clowns but I made the stupid mistake of getting them the same size. So one killed the other sadly.

Add the smaller timid fish first. Ones that are more aggressive and will grow bigger last.
Clowns : babies have not yet matured and can change sex. Bigger same size will prob be the same sex. Will prob fight to the death someday. Best to buy mated pairs. Never buy 3 .
