Before we get more sps in the near future any special requirements for an sps tank?

We use red Sea test kit to test the following:
Kh - 8.2-8.6
Cal - 410
Mg - 1400
P03 - 0.25 ( I find this a bit low)

Is that PO4 or NO3? Not sure what the typo is.

I think your fine to start adding a few frags. Stability and good water are key.

Your levels look decent. I would try to bring the ca up a bit to the 450ish range. The biggest thing is maintaining all tour levels either by dosing or some other means. What kind of equipment do u have? Lights, skimmer, ato, dosing regiment, ect. Acropora are not super hard to keep, they are just a little less forgiving to parameter changes.

It's not a typo. NO3 is 0.25ppm right now meanwhile PO4 says 0 using hanna Checker.

Anyone know the name of the first two frags I posted ?

Um.. how to I edit my first posts? Anyhow, I am running 2 radions xr15 pro, 180i vertex skimmer, 3155 tunze for ATO and dosing 30ml mag, 20ml KH, 22 ml CA. I'll try to up the calcium to 450 slowly as you recommended.

I have xr15 pros and my acros are happy. Mine are in the upper middle and not more than 6 inches from the center of either light. I run close to 20k at full power for about 6 hours with gradual power rampups through the day. Make sure water flows well around them too.

You probably knew all that so enjoy

I'd say you're ready for SPS. Equipment sounds good.
Dally dosing looks fine (Mag dose is a little high).
Keep your tank a little dirty with N03 at 2-4 ppm and P04 around .02-.04 by having fish to feed and let them poop.
Keep things stable and follow your routine. Good luck and sorry I can't help name the corals.

Thanks! In regards to NO3. I have to either do ALOT of feeding, add fish or add kno3 cause it seems to me that no3 is stable at 0.25 using red sea test kit. What would be the best route ?

What's your schedule and setting like? Let's see your FTS

Thanks @bustayanky. 2nd one supposed to be a RR medusa but we kept moving the frag and turned greenish. Any advice ?

Check out the thread on R2R regarding dosing with Spectracide Stump Remover (KNO3). It's a slog to get through but you'll come out of the other side a lot more knowledgeable.

Hey guys, just took some pictures of my sps. I am new to sps so I don't know if I'm doing the right thing. Any comments or advice are appreciated..
