Is my tds working?

brs 4 stage. All new media , new membrane. Running for two hours. Tds have decreased but after two hours both in and out read at 3 I’ve checked it several times and occasionally the in was 1 ppm greater than out but for the most part , they are equal. Is my tds broken? Brand new batteries . I was planning on filling tomorrow but now I’m skeptical. Thanks

What is the 'pre' tds vs the 'post' tds?

Should tds be way higher? Is it possible my input water is that low? I’m assuming my tds meter is shot

Please post a picture. I think you might be measuring post RO and post DI, but we would need a picture to be sure.

Sorry. It’s late and I’m tired and too many naturdays. My out probe seems obvious. My input is not so obvious. I haven’t messed with it. It came straight from brs from what I can recall.

Looks like your meter is bad, sorry about that.

I like these, they tend to last longer in my experience.

I ordered handheld with good reviews. Since I’m use all new media I’m going to go ahead and fill tank. I ran it for two hours with new membrane and media.

I think you are right on with those decisions. Handheld is nice to have.
