Hi all,

We all know toadstool mushroom coral can be finicky regarding opening up, but ive experienced a confusing problem this afternoon. I had this coral mid lvl of my tank for about a month and it was doing fine. Yesterday I decided to move him higher up in the tank to start building my upper reef and he started shedding and now looks like hes peeling on one of his top lobes. Nothing has changed on my tank for months regarding perameters.

Temp - 77
PH - 8.1-8.3
ALK - 10-11
SALINITY 1.024-1.0245
CALCIUM 350 (norm for my softies)
AMMONIA - 0
NITRITE - 0
NITRATE - 1
PHOSPHATE - 5PPB or .015PPM
LIGHTING - 2 REDSEA REEF90 LED's

See pics below with thoughts.

Give it a little more flow and blow off top gently with a turkey baster

Its already in a very hi flow spot. Its shedding fine but im worried that dark area on the top lobe is flesh thats peeled away from light burn I dont wanna further irritate it by touching it and usual methods including baster and hi flow havent loosened that area. I know softies in general esp toadstools are very forgiving with light, but concerned since hes a brilliant toadstool with super neon green polyps that colored up extremely well and dont wanna damage it.
