Is my toadstool shedding or do I need to be concered?

concerned? Weeping willow toadstool is closed and has been for almost a week now. I know they shed, and thought that's what was happening but a light brow film is appearing on top, is that still signs of shedding or should I start dipping in revive if it's basically dying or have a infection?

Do not worry. This is part of their growing process. You can help him by brushing off with a an old toothbrush the dead skin.

I knew they shed and what not just didnt know how long it took or what it looked like. Funny thing is right after I posted this he looks like this now. Like playdoe being squeezed through holes. Lol
