Look at it this way no matter what it is it’s super healthy looking and I bet it glows under blues! Get a couple more color variations and some cool hammers and you have a sweet garden!!

Unfortunately the torch can’t live with frogspawns or hammers. The torch will just sting them both

I don’t believe it’s a pure frogspawn as they only come in a ‘wall’ type skeleton. This coral you have is branching.

I believe you have a hybrid of either torch X frogspawn or more likely in my opinion based on the look of the tentacles hammer X frogspawn. Either way it’s a cool coral and looks healthy. Mouths normally open in response to food.

Just a nice frog spawn or maybe a frog hammer cross but that a stretch. This is a sure giveaway The multiple buds on 1 stalk. Hammers are more obviously shaped on the end. Hammers come in branching and wall and frogspawn come in branching and I have heard of extremely rare wall frogspawn. no hammers or frogs near torches but hammer and frogs are friends

Wow what a response it reminds me of Reef Central. If you disagree that’s fine but honestly grow up about it how embarrassing for you.

I’ve only kept Euphyllia for over 15 years in the country they are collected so what would I know! I haven’t seen frogspawn in a branching form, perhaps I’m wrong about them only being in wall form but I’ve never seen them branching and seen my share.

Here is a pic of my Euphyllia garden, I have wall and branching hammers, purple wall frogspawn (bottom right) and a green branching hybrid (top right):

Greatdane, there’s is a chance you have a branching frogspawn. I had not ever seen one so based my ID on my previous experience. The tips to my eye still do not look like frogspawn I’ve have seen or own.

Mine is a long wall.. nearly 4 inches. Just took a pic since it’s dark now it’s skeleton is exposed. It’s the coral in the centre of the pic..
