My brand new tunze osmolator 3155 acting weird. When the water evaporate and the pump kicks in, and the water level goes up, and touches the tip of the sensor. The pump stops. And then 3-4 seconds later it kicks back in till it fills the sensor to that level. Why it has to kick in after stopping? Its not going way high to say its defective. Its weird. Like i thought when the water touches the tip of the sensor the pump stops and not kicks back in. But no mine stops when it touches the water sebsor and then kicks in 3-4 seconds later to fill the whole sensor part.

Could be normal. Is it making any visible waves?

A lot of ato's have multiple failsafes like additonal sensors and runtime limits to protect overfilling.
I would not necissarily think its an issue if its filling to the same level each time.

I use a different brand so i couldnt make a comparison for you.

When the water reaches the tip of the primary sensor, my overfill sensor is at the half way mark. Not sure if that would make a difference?

My water when it touches the tip of the sensor it stops, kicks in after couple of seconds to reach the level you have it. Like why would it start twice? Get what im saying?

I only have the Tunze Nano Osmolator so it only has one float, not two different sensors so I can't answer but...

If the surface of the water is fairly turbulent, it wouldn't surprise me if it did the stop/start thing a couple of times to get to the right water level. (Think of what the primary sensor would be seeing in between surface waves)

Post a picture of your setup (like post #3 did) and someone with experience will probably have clearer thoughts.
