Is over skimming my tank a problem

I want to heavily stick my tank but it’s going to take a while because I just bought some AI primes and took a major hit to the bank account

I was thinking of heavily stocking my tank because I love fish and the more I can have without it effecting the perameters the better in my opinion

1 fire goby
1 yellowtang
2 clownfish
1 Melanurus wrasse
1 leopard wrasse
3 anthias
Maybe some fairy wrasses

Do you think that would be good if I also feed a lot

A 75 isn’t long enough for a Yellow Tang. They swim a lot and need more space. I know people have keep them in smaller tanks and someone will probably post about it but not a good idea and will most likely lead to problems.

Never mind my question i didn’t see the list that you posted. Thank you for the list I might look at a like tang or a mimic tang

I might look at getting a yellow tang that is small because I was just looking at some other forums and they were saying that they grow really slowly and I will probably of upgraded my tank by the time it gets too big

Fish have certainly been moved to bigger tanks before like that just know it stresses the fish to be moved like that. Also the fish will most likely become aggressive at that point it’s time for a bigger tank. It’s best not to have to move the fish to another tank but it can done. It would be better to wait for the bigger tank then get the Tang but that’s just me.

Good idea I forgot about that they are more likely to get more aggressive if you add them as one of the first fish I will wait to get a bigger tank before I get one but do you know why a scopaz tang can go in a smaller tank then a yellow tang when they are almost the same fish apart from colour

That fish is even bigger then a Yellow Tang Thus you need a bigger tank. Looks like the person that made the list made a mistake. The bigger the fish the bigger the tank you will need.

I just bought a new skimmer off gumtree (Australian Craigslist ) for 150 Australian dollars it’s a bubble magus curve 7 and it is rated for 700 litres and my tank is 300

I would over size the skimmer anyway so u should be fine.

When I first put it on it was going nuts even though I have nothing in my tank but it has settled down now
