Is pH an indicator of oxygen saturation?

Something that I know I need to be conscious of when carbon dosing is bacterial blooms causing oxygen deprivation. I don't have an O2 meter or test kit, but I do notice a slight drop in pH when I dose the carbon. It returns to where it was after a few hours.

Is this a good indicator? If the O2 starts getting low, will pH also start dropping?

Yes I'm pretty sure ph is affected by oxygenation

It’s not directly no. As alk also effects it.

In a bacterial bloom , o2 drops yes , co2 increases. Bacteria breathe.

If o2 drops when co2 is low and alk are high , it won’t effect ph.
However, if co2 is low most likely outside air has replaced it (although it’s mainly nitrogen with some oxygen. )
