Is PH growth exponential?

We know PH peaks when photosynthesis is highest in our tanks.

does this mean: bigger corals = more photosynthesis = higher PH?

is PH naturally higher in a tank packed full of growing corals vs a tank of small frags, all other things being equal?

All other things equal, more photosynthesis means higher daytime pH. Whether larger corals photosynthesize more depends on what is between the smaller corals, but probably yes.

It may also mean lower night time pH as those same corals produce more CO2 at night.
