I've seen a lot of "pink" digitata (or even setosa) that ends up being just a faded orange one.

If you have the real pink, let's see pics!

I can send you pics of my orange digi and it will be pink in the pics, but really its just an orange digi in high light that turns pink. Most pink digi I have seen are just orange digi in high light.

I have a forest fire digi that looks pink and a setosa is hot pink in high light. Although my orange digi has more of a peachy color.

I agree with the others, I bought one and even under 600 par it turned orange in my tank. To keep them pink you basically have to keep them bleached all the time.

I agree too. Directly under my LEDs my setosa and digi are pink with the digi more peach. Frags on the frag rack hold color for some time but after a few months will get more orange (in lower light).

I did notice that they say it likes high light. Sounds to me like it's a clever way to say "to keep this color you need to bleach it". Haha

Mine turned orange and I got it from them in person at baymac. Like the "forest fire digi", the pink smoothie isn't a true montipora digitata. More than likely they are both Montipora samarensis.

I think it is funny when people mark the montipora samarensis as digitata. The one at thepetplace is clearly not a digi. I have an orange M. samarensis that most people would sell as a superman digi since under 20k lighting it looks blue and red. :banghead:
