Anyone know what this is ? It looks like a snail shell but it isnt, i dont think. It looks like part of the red mushroom coral i had but got rid....

I think your mushroom is back! The picture is a little fuzzy but it looks like a mushroom. I know, I've cut them off of the rocks before and even leaving a little bit of the meat on the rock it would heal and regrow.

I thought so....mine were more red though. Guess a small bit survived...oh well, as long as it doesn't take over lol

I know the feeling. I made the mistake of getting some pulsing Xenia one time and I thought I would never get rid of it. You cut it from the rocks and if you leave enough meat behind it would heal and start growing again.
