Hello everyone, I asked the local seller for soda lime to raise the pH, he sent me the chemical in the picture, when I searched the internet, it says potassium sorbate. Can I also use a reactor to increase the pH? Below is a picture of the incoming chemical.
I found some things about the image in the picture on the internet, do you think it will work or should I use it?

Short answer: no
Long answer: NOOOOOO
Potassium sorbate is a PH stabilisator... for foodstuffs.
You will crash your tank if you use it.
Are you really sure it is potassium sorbate? If you have ordered soda lime why should you receive something else?

She said it was soda lime, but I was suspicious because it didn't match the pictures on the internet and I opened the subject.

Do you have sodalime as in the picture?

Wait a sec.
Are you trying to identify a chemical compound though its optical apperance? That doesn't work.

What is written on the packaging?
Try to dissolve 1 g in 10 ml rodi water. If it doesn't dissolve it can't be potassium sorbate.
