I have been looking to add supplemental LEDs to my Geissman Spectra fixture and like the look of the Sbar actinic light since it has 72" option. But I have reached out through the website and FB with some questions on the fixture and haven't gotten a response.
Has anyone ordered from their site recently?

They have been non responsive for months. Supposedly still in business but not sure for certain. If you do talk with someone find out if the splashguard issue has been fixed before you buy. I have 2 60" actinic strips and the uv light burned holes in the splash guard and I have been trying to get this fixed under warranty for several months now. They are supposedly replacing the splashguards. The light is a great light and complimented my t5 well until the burning issues.

I read about that and saw that the recommended solution was to have a glass splash guard. I wish there were more options for a 72" bar. All I have found are Reefbrite and SB. And the price of reefbrite seems crazy high when compared to the Sbar.

It is crazy the price difference. That was what Mike told me the last time I had a conversation with him was glass was the proper replacement. I went to lowes to have glass cut on my own and they wouldnt do it because it's so thin. Mike told me he would send the specs so I could go to a glass shop to have it done. It has been a few months and I'm still waiting. He did say they would reimburse the cost but honestly I wasnt going to hold my breath. Again the light is very good but customer service is terrible.

I think you can get a 72" booster bar from StevesLEDs. I don't know much about them, and can't make any comparison to ReefBrite or SB, but I looked at them a few times an option for my tank (not 72"). They don't list a 72" booster bar, but they do list 72" heat sinks and full light sets, so I suspect they can assemble one. They seem to get good reviews for their biocube kits.
