Is secale similar to bonsai?!

Hello.
I'm about to bite the bullet on buying an acro secale...

I currently have green slimer, ice stag, green acro, rp, tort doing well. Other SPS too...

Is acro secale, finicky like bonsai? Will it loose color?

Pls share tips...
