Is super glue safe?

Any Cyanoacrylate super glue is safe. I would only use "gel" types, they are much thicker and easier to use. I don't think "regular" superglue would work out well, it's just too thin.

yeah - you just want to pick up the gel types. I think most people go to the dollar store or something similar and buy a ton of of those little tubes so it doesn't dry up on you. But any super glue gel should work for you. Just have to apply a bit of pressure for 30-60 seconds. I've also found it helps to kind of rub the plug around a bit on the rock so the glue breaks up some. It kind of hardens up as soon as you put it in the water so breaking that surface up on the rock helps.

I have found layering super glue gel and epoxy really glues things in place.

Dollar store super glue (Cyanoacrylate) gel for the win! I have noticed that the super glue gel that I found at the Dollar Tree doesn't dry as quickly as other super glue gels...but it still works great!

One of my lfs also spomsor on here sells a frag kit that has half stick of epoxy and couple tubes plain ole super glue gel

I got a 24 pack of 2oz super glue gels on amazon for like $10. Perfect size. Do like 5 to 7 frags with a tube and no worries about wasting any. I agree with rubbing the frag around a bit too. Defanitly helps speed and bond. I like using only gel because it holds well but is easily broken if you change your mind on placement. Which I do alot. Lol
