Is target feeding my corals adding to my Nitrate phosphate issue?

I'm pretty sure I am not feeding my fish to much. I target feed some of my corals twice a week and daily add zooplankton or phyloplankton for my filter feeders. I always have high phosphate and nitrate, is this adding to my problem?

+1 to that. Just curious why do you add phyto every day? I add it 2-3 times a week when I feed the corals.

Heavy feeding is beneficial to the growth and health to the corals so maybe try using a biobead reactor.
Made a huge difference in my tank.

I think the rest of my answer is: Just feed your fish moderaly and your corals will do great, food-wise!

Convenient that PO4 is considered a "supplement" rather than a "fertilizer"....so it generally isn't monitored even in municipal water supplies.

So everyone "may" have measurable PO4 in their water, even if their water quality report doesn't say a thing about phosphates. (It depends on "local" contamination sources.)

Yeah I get it from my LFS. Just ordered an rodi unit from Marine depot.
