Is that mold on my snail??

I woke up and saw on my snail what looked like mold but there’s no way that can happen, hoping someone can help me ID this thanks!

Most likely a sponge of some sort, not sure the exact type though

I have to agree with @olonmv, looks like a bacterial bloom around a dead snail.

It was dead and a lot of my snails of that species started dying??? My parameters are perfect
