Is that normal behavior for the coral or struggle?

Hi all,

I have noticed that over the past few days, my Kenya tree coral has been lying down on the rocks. It's still a chunky piece of coral; however, for some reason, it is leaning down. It has been thriving for a few weeks, and nothing has changed in the aquarium; all the corals are looking good. Is this normal behavior, or does the coral not like its current placement? Should I take any action, or is it advisable to simply ignore it and leave it be?

Ensure it has enough flow, they can slump over in low flow.

Sometimes they are just moody for a few days.

More info and pics in white light will help. What are the water parameters? What are the other corals? Full tank pics help too.

In terms of parameters: 78.8 degrees Celsius, pH = 8.0, ammonia = 0, nitrite = 0, nitrate = barely detectable, phosphate = 0.01, salinity = 1.025.

It is 4 months old aquarium. I have some papaya clove polyps, mushrooms, gsp, candy cane, alveopora. All of them looking good. I could move it elsewhere where the flow is stronger.

the phosphate and nitrate are very low for the soft corals you have, they normally like "dirtier" water, keep an eye on these 2 stats for soft corals.

I agree I would start with moving to higher flow area, leathers like higher flow than your other soft corals.

Pair of clownfish and tailspot blenny. They're not really interested in kenya.

I'm hoping that nitrates will slowly raise. I will try to move it a little bit higher where the water flow is stronger and see whether it is getting better.

They also will retract.. can even look like they are melting after and durning their self fragging.

I unglued the frag today and noticed that on the other site the kenya tree flesh is exposed. It's looking like something ate it or it's decomposing. Never seen anything like this before. Is it sick or something attacked the coral?
