My uv aqua clear 57w is 8 months old. And i was just changing the bulb on it. And tjen my friend mentioned the housing melt all of sudden on it is that true! My uv is behind my tank. I didnt realize they melt? Made me anxious.

Read the thread... it melted down because the unit was running full of air, not being cooled by water.
