IMO if a single person is offended then it should be removed. Personally I dont care, I had one of my names removed due to censorship but I personally didnt think it was that bad nor did the other forums. But I abide by the rules on R2r.

I am in now way offended by the name and voted "No" but can understand why some people may find the name offensive. They may not want to think of ******* for some reason, and that is okay. I believe ******* make the world a better place.

yes Dr. lol

I could care less about the name of your coral but I can definitely see how it would offend...

I dont see how it could be offensive at all. All of us know the color pink and everyone on this forum has *******, men and women. The only difference is the size. "*******" are part of the human anatomy. No differnt than calling the chalice pick nose in my opinion.

If the name pink ******* is offensive to some I am not sure how those people would not be offended day after day after day.... Take a look at most TV shows, highway billboard advertisements and just the typical things we hear in everyday life. If pink ******* is the worst thing you hear or read throughout the day then your life is sheltered MUCH more than most.

HEY, your name offends me too!!!!!!......LOL....Just kidding!

yeah i need to change it, this is the last forum where i still haven't changed it. i named my first yellow tang poo...sooo, i signed up on RC with the name:tongue: now i just want to be myself...Joe

"*******" has always been a polite, playful slang word and is in no way demeaning or vulgar. Same with "hooters." They even have a major restaurant chain with that moniker.

As far as kids go, I promise you they hear - and see - worse than that on a daily basis at school or playing around other kids these days.

Just to play the devil's advocate, does the fact that they are being exposed to worse make it ok for us to write off what would've been seen as very offensive to people who are from older generations. It's like saying that I'm ok with my kids making all the mistakes I made as a kid. (There is no WAY my daughter will date a guy like I was when I was in high school )

I voted "yes" even though I don't find it in the least bit offensive to me personally, just because I can see how some people would be bothered by it. Just because it isn't offensive to me or you personally, doesn't define reality...just our own perception of reality. I agree with the comment above that if one person finds it offensive, then it should be treated as such.

Mostly though, I just love to play devil's advocate and have a good spirited disagreement.

When I first saw the name I chuckled and thought it was a pretty descriptive name for the coral but it didn't offend me. I think more people would probably be embarrassed by it rather than offended. I sometimes have new people over to see the tanks. Let's just say that if a very well endowed lady (who I haven't met before) were to point to it and innocently ask "what's the name of that one?", when I told her she might think I was making a personal reference to her. It might embarrass at least one of us.

In the end some people will be offended no matter what. I think most of us who have seen and read about it for a while just tend to forget the implication of the name.

The only thing I find offensive about it is that I never grabbed a frag of it when Vivid first offered it for sale :(

people that get offended easily about something not directed at them offends me:bigsmile::bigsmile:

You said a little too much...

The "Breast Cancer Awareness" slogan (or one of them) is "Save the Ta Ta's". I see those bumber stickers and Tee shirts everywhere. PB should not offend.
