Okay I’ve been battling Dino’s and I have been having some success and then failures so I’m very much so thinking about grabbing the Innovative Marine UV to place in my Nuvo20. I’m just not sure if it will work I have read mixed reports.

I have raised nutrients and it will slowly go away but hasn’t disappeared. I did let nutrients drop to 0 again and they came back even worse and are now effecting corals more.

Anyone have anything to say about the IM UV?

I used one for Dino and it worked. It took longer... maybe took a week or two vs a large oversized UV (25w Aqua) which took 12 hours on a different tank.

The thing is not all forms of Dino seem to be susceptible to UV so it depends what’s kind you have and probably why you see mixed reviews.

I have osteoporosis so it should work but was just worried about spending the $50 and it not working.
